Chinese students thrive in New Zealand

Students of Chinese descent account for about 2.5% of students in New Zealand, and they often are at the top of their class. Officials say this second-generation of Chinese students -- who face fewer prejudices -- often have a good work ethic and excel in maths, science and other subjects. Universities in the country say they are also hoping to recruit more Chinese students.
