Data links high-fat diet to inflammatory bowel disease

Researchers who reviewed studies on how food affects inflammatory bowel disease connected high-fat diets to a higher risk of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. The study in the American Journal of Gastroenterology also showed a lower risk of IBD for those whose diets had higher amounts of fiber, fruits and vegetables. Read the abstract.
