Celebrity endorsements can be a powerful adjunct to a social media campaign, but finding the right celebrity for a given brand is a subtle art, says Ad.ly CEO Sean Rad. Ad.ly helps brands find their perfect celebrity match through a speed-dating-style system that allows celebrities to indicate brands for which they feel an affinity, and vice versa. The system lets brands and celebrities actively select one another, Rad says, which "ensures that the right brands are being chosen for someone."
