Fed will work to improve stress tests, official says

The Federal Reserve will "consider both substantive and procedural improvements" in its bank stress tests going forward, said Fed Governor Daniel Tarullo. The latest round of tests left some industry officials questioning how the Fed arrived at its results. The Fed will work with academics, analysts and individual banks to improve the process, and supervisors will consider changes to the models they use, Mr. Tarullo said.
