Judge stages theft to teach Minn. students a lesson on the legal system

Judge Alan Pendleton of the 10th Judicial District recently helped teach sixth-grade social studies students about the legal process by staging a crime in which a student stole a bag of candy. With the help of students at the Minnesota middle school, Pendleton demonstrated what happens after someone is arrested and also showed videos, offering an engaging lesson on the legal system.
