N.C. city manager offers 4 ideas for raising property tax

Charlotte, N.C., City Manager Ron Carlee has proposed four options for increasing property tax. The annual bill for a home valued at $100,000 could go up as much as $40. Officials say the additional revenue is necessary for neighborhood improvements, transportation and other initiatives.
