NRF aims to revamp retail's image with new campaign

NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay unveiled a campaign Thursday designed to change the perception of the retail industry by illustrating its wealth of diverse careers. The "This is Retail: Careers, Community and Innovation" campaign will use industry research and real-life stories to get the message across and help recruit the next generation of retail professionals, Shay said at the annual Global Retailing Conference at the University of Arizona.
