Obama wants billions for transportation infrastructure

President Barack Obama's budget proposal for fiscal 2014 would provide $40 billion for high-speed and inner-city rail, aiming to increase freight-rail competitiveness. The proposal also would allocate $50 billion toward highway projects. The budget would extend the MAP-21 transportation bill beyond 2015.
