Many companies focus on the number of users they have, but it's more important to track how engaged they are, writes Alison Johnston, CEO and co-founder of InstaEDU. "[I]nstead of counting the number of sign-ups, look at what your users are doing," she advises. Try to figure out how much money each user will generate for your company, and track how fast your company is growing, she recommends.
