New Minn. law aims to protect LGBT students from bullying

Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton signed legislation Wednesday that strengthens the state's anti-LGBT bullying protections. The Safe and Supportive Schools Act will require schools to train staffers on how to identify and handle instances of harassment. The bill had been pending in the Legislature for more than two years.
