Music industry seeks more joint ad campaigns

The music industry wants more nonmusic companies to align themselves with artists to create more powerful campaigns, the way American Express and Sheryl Crow as well as Jaguar and Sting successfully teamed up. Music, especially online, is an increasingly potent way to reach younger consumers, a record industry executive says.
