Piggly Wiggly's success depends on pricing plan

Fresh Brands president Louis Stinebaugh is confident the lower-pricing strategy instituted last year at its Piggly Wiggly stores will make the chain more competitive. He downplayed an annual report that cautioned if the turnaround fails Fresh Brands will be forced to consider strategic alternatives for Piggly Wiggly.
