Residents prepare testimony for Alaska drilling hearings

Advocates and opponents of Alaskan oil and natural gas development likely will be out in full force at two forums hosted by Interior Secretary Ken Salazar this week. The public meetings come as the Interior Department considers increasing offshore drilling in federal waters, a move that may open vast oil and natural gas reserves off Alaska's coast.
