La. town's obesity rate highlights national problem

In the past 35 years, the number of overweight or obese children in Bogalusa, La., increased from 14.2% to 48.4%, according to a study in Pediatrics. "These findings show that we still have a long way to go as a nation to get where we need to be with childhood obesity," the study author said.
