NFIB: Immigration inspections are a burden for La. small businesses

Hiring records at 64 Louisiana businesses will be subject to increased scrutiny as part of a nationwide crackdown by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. "Knowing all the ins and outs of employment law is a lot to ask someone who's drying your clothes or fixing your car. It can get pretty burdensome for small businesses," said Renee Baker, NFIB/Louisiana.
