Nielsen: Out-of-home viewership rivals TV networks

Nielsen, in a new study of viewership on out-of-home networks in movie theaters, gas stations and other venues, has found that 10 such networks in a month generated more ad "exposures" than all of the top 20 prime-time TV shows in a week. But some agencies and TV networks criticized Nielsen's methodology, saying the count didn't accurately measure the different demographics for each out-of-place setting.
