Novartis joins effort to discover treatments for neglected diseases

Researchers at Novartis' operations in La Jolla, Calif., are using genetic analysis to discover treatments for neglected illnesses, including malaria, tuberculosis and Chagas disease. The scientists work with colleagues in Singapore and other developing countries to study genetic data that could be used to discover compounds.
