Survey: Women prefer docs over online sites to discuss health issues

A survey sponsored by iVillage revealed that 80% of women felt comfortable consulting their doctors about private health matters, while only 38% said the same about online communities. People don't go online to replace going to the doctor but to better prepare for a doctor's visit, the health editor for the women's Web site said.
