Alaskan officials put propane pickup through its paces

The Alaska Department of Transportation has been testing a Roush Clean Tech propane autogas-fueled Ford pickup truck on routes between Fairbanks and the North Slope. The truck is driven more than 1,000 miles a week in extremely cold weather. Propane is a natural fit for Alaskan fleets because it's a homegrown resource with the potential to significantly reduce carbon emissions, says Todd Mouw, Roush Clean Tech's vice president of sales.
