Exports of ethanol, DDGS rose in February, data show

Federal data show that U.S. exports of denatured and undenatured ethanol reached 74.8 million gallons in February, down about 2% from January but 25% higher than a year ago, writes Geoff Cooper, vice president of research and analysis for the Renewable Fuels Association. Ethanol shipments in the first two months of the year totaled 151.1 million gallons, up 29% from the same period last year. Exports of distillers dried grains with solubles topped 612,638 metric tons in February, up 1% from January, Cooper notes.
