First lady promotes better nursing care for veterans

During an event at the University of Pennsylvania on Wednesday, first lady Michelle Obama announced an initiative to improve nursing care for veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury and post-combat depression. ANA President Karen Daley said the Joining Forces initiative will help make learning about post-traumatic stress disorder and brain injuries a standard part of nurse training.
