How online retail inspires Macy's new in-store features

Kiosks that offer Macy's customers real-time electronic help from beauty consultants and digital displays of the items available at all 800 of the chain's department stores are in the works, driven by ideas gleaned from online retail, says Macy's CEO Terry Lundgren. "I am focused on how do we make them feel as comfortable and ready to buy in our stores as they do online."
