Obama, Dems bound to embrace marriage equality by 2016

Salon’s Steve Kornacki writes that public opinion is changing so rapidly on marriage equality that it’s inconceivable the Democratic Party will not support it in its 2016 party platform, when a number of marriage equality supporters could seek the party’s nomination for president. As for the 2012 election and President Obama, Kornacki says it’s understandable why his campaign may not be ready to evolve completely on the issue just yet.
