Switch to frozen meals upsets Chicago schools' food staff

Food service workers at Chicago Public Schools sent a letter to the district asking it to stop replacing fresh-cooked food with frozen meals that are shipped to cafeterias. The workers say the food is being wasted because children are throwing it out, and the workers are concerned that full school kitchens are being replaced by "warming kitchens."
