Unforgettables chorus improves life for dementia patients, caregivers

The Unforgettables in New York City is a singing group of dementia patients and their family caregivers conducted by a music therapist. Epidemiologist Mary Mittelman of New York University Langone Medical Center began the chorus and found it has led to improved quality of life and better self-esteem and mood for both patients and caregivers.
