U.S. consumer confidence holding strong

An improving job market and increasing incomes are giving U.S. consumer more confidence than they’ve had since 2008, keeping the Bloomberg Consumer Confidence Index at minus 32.8 for the period ending April 8. That figure put the index slightly lower than the previous week, which was the highest levels since March 2008.
