Value of agent-booked air tickets rises 6.57%, ARC reports

ARC's report for the first quarter shows the value of airline tickets booked by travel agents rising 6.57% against the same period in 2011, and 18% compared with 2010. The number of transactions also rose 1%, while ticket sales for the quarter rose to $23.3 billion against $21.9 billion in the previous year.
