Why Web designers should shun JPGs

Designers should be wary of saving their designs using "lossy" formats such as JPG, writes R.J. LaCount. Every time you save a JPG, even at full quality, you create blocky "artifacts," so it's almost always better to stick to lossless formats such as PNG, TIF or GIF. "Every time I receive a logo in JPG format, a little part of me dies inside," LaCount writes.
