The Obama administration's approval of TransCanada's Keystone XL pipeline would pave the way for its goals to generate jobs, boost exports and spur economic growth, some U.S. executives say. There are several major projects that are waiting for the pipeline's approval, said Eric Spiegel, president and CEO of Siemens USA. "We're hoping the U.S. and the Canadian government can get together on the pipeline. It will be a key watermark for economic development, not just for energy development," he said.
