Parental pesticide exposure linked to childhood brain cancer

An Australian study revealed that parents' exposure to termite control treatments before or during pregnancy was linked to a twofold increased risk of having children with a brain tumor. Researchers suggest that parents avoid getting professional pesticide treatment during the period leading up to conception and during pregnancy.
