Solar-powered cars are a bright spot for Tenn. STEM students

Students at a Tennessee school recently built solar-powered cars as an extension of lessons about solar energy, electrical circuits and other aspects of engineering. Once finished assembling the small cars, students went outside to try them out. Cloud cover slowed the process, but eventually the cars began to move.
