Philadelphia program seeks to correct behavioral problems

The Philadelphia School District has begun a series of Saturday Morning Alternative Reach and Teach programs for children in grades K-4 who have been identified with behavioral problems. The sessions teach coping skills, and classroom teachers are encouraged to know what a student is learning in SMART to provide real-life application of the lessons learned.
