Net-a-Porter's next move: Shortening the fashion cycle

Fashion retail Web site Net-a-Porter.com is trimming the time it takes clothing to go from the runway to the closet from months to hours. Earlier this year, the site sold out two items from the Halston fall collection, which appeared on Net-a-Porter the day after they were introduced.
