Banks to capitalize on positive results

Some U.S. banks are attempting to rebuild investor confidence and raise capital by taking advantage of strong results in the first quarter and the completion of the government's "stress tests." For example, Goldman Sachs plans to raise billions in capital markets, a move that could help the firm repay its $10 billion government loan. Goldman will kick off the latest reporting season Tuesday.
