N.J. governor hopes to launch aggressive capital improvement plan

New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine this week said he wants to spend $3.6 billion on transportation projects in 2010. The capital improvement program and $1 billion in stimulus funds that will go to transportation projects will allow the state to move forward with overdue projects, including interim repairs to the Pulaski Skyway and the final design of the $8.7 billion plan to build a second commuter rail tunnel into New York.
