North Carolina cities lift watering restrictions

Several cities in the region of Charlotte, N.C., have lifted water restrictions in place since 2007. Concord, Harrisburg, Kannapolis, Landis and Mount Pleasant will now allow residents to water lawns three days a week. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities also ended restrictions on washing cars and watering lawns for its customers.
