AIG's Greenberg wants civil-fraud case dismissed

Former American International Group CEO Maurice R. "Hank" Greenberg filed a motion to have his civil-fraud case dismissed. The case was originally filed in 2005 by New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer. The "public should ask why the attorney general is continuing to waste substantial sums of government money pursuing discredited allegations against Mr. Greenberg," said Lee Wolosky, Greenberg's lawyer.
