Google used its own cloud-computing event Monday to offer its vision for the enterprise-software market while noting the obstacles it faces among corporate decision makers. "There's something about cloud computing that pushes buttons on people more than any other transition in computer history. It's so fundamentally disruptive to how things are done," said Dave Girouard, president of Google's Enterprise unit. Also, Google CEO Eric Schmidt said he had become "paranoid" about security after an attack last year that he blamed on Chinese hackers.
