Motorola set-top upgrade senses presence of 3-D

Motorola has announced a processing enhancement for its DCX cable set-top box that automatically detects the presence of 3-D content and displays the correct format for display. The upgrade, according to the company, means that viewers won't have to switch their 3-D TVs back and forth between 2-D and 3-D modes.
