New security measures may have stopped "underwear bomber"

Had they been in place at the time, the new security screening measures that were announced April 2 probably would have prevented would-be bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab from walking onto a plane on Christmas Day. That's the opinion of DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, who says the new system requires additional screening for U.S.-bound travelers who match the physical description, partial name or travel pattern of suspected terrorists.
