Top Florida high-schoolers to square off in academic challenge

High-school students from schools across Florida are set to compete today in an academic competition to test their knowledge of math formulas, literary references, science concepts and historical facts. Teams from more than 50 districts are scheduled to participate in the Commissioner's Academic Challenge, which will feature multiple rounds of questions crafted by high-school educators from across the state.
