Snake Plissken, the character played by Kurt Russell in cult 1981 action flick "Escape from New York," might seem an unlikely leadership model, but there's plenty they can learn from the hard-bitten hero. Mike Figliuolo advises emulating Snake's relentless focus, self-belief and willingness to take calculated risks. "Know what you're capable of and take an occasional risk. You might surprise yourself with what you're able to do," Figliuolo writes.
