British rail station nears end of roof construction project

The historic Pickering Station in North Yorkshire, England, is getting a new roof. The station's original roof was installed in the 1840s and was replaced in the 1950s. The more than $800,000 project was made possible by public donations, which funded more than 8,000 Welsh roof slates.
