Employees' savings plans are holding firm, survey indicates

Most workers haven't changed the amount they are saving, despite the economic downturn, a CareerBuilder survey says. About 80% of workers surveyed said that they have not reduced their 401(k) accounts or personal savings in the past year. The study also showed that 61% said they are living paycheck to paycheck, down from 77% last year.
