OASIS Institute gets $2.7M grant to work on childhood obesity

The Indianapolis-based WellPoint Foundation awarded a two-year, $2.7 million grant to St. Louis' OASIS Institute to help address childhood obesity. OASIS is planning a program to work with Boys & Girls Clubs of America that will involve 5,000 children in 14 states in weekly one-hour sessions of active games and lessons on healthy food choices.
