Putzmeister concrete pump arrives in Japan to aid nuclear plant

A 190,000-pound concrete pump that will be used at the damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant has arrived in Japan. The Putzmeister pump is the largest pump of its kind and had been deployed at Savannah River Site before last month's earthquake. The pump, along with a similar one from Associated Concrete Pumping, will first go to Chiba, where workers will be trained to use them.
