White House struggles to find nominee for CFPB director

Several candidates have rejected the Obama administration's suggestion that they run the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, sources said. Some potential candidates are concerned that accepting the nomination would undercut the efforts of Elizabeth Warren, the special adviser to the president who is working to establish the agency. Many Democrats want Warren to lead the CFPB, but she's not popular among Republicans.
