Netflix CEO: Don't use compensation to trap employees

Netflix employees can take as much vacation as they want, are given top salaries and aren't bound to the company with "golden handcuffs" such as vested stock grants, CEO and co-founder Reed Hastings says. "We want people who want to work here because they are well paid, challenged and excited. Employees can leave here at any time without losing compensation," he says.
