NFL bets on some casino advertising for 2 years

The National Football League relaxed its rules regarding team acceptance of advertising from local casinos, providing their betting arms only accept dog and horse wagering. The change applies to game-day programs, club-controlled radio outlets and stadiums for the next two years. "There is a distinction between accepting advertising in a limited fashion and gambling on the outcome of our games,” said NFL rep Brian McCarthy.
