Nonprofit helps children with disabilities improve their reading

A nonprofit group in Champaign, Ill., has worked for 40 years to help improve the reading skills of students with dyslexia and other disabilities. Teachers with The Reading Group take an individualized approach to instruction, and students of all ages are encouraged to be their "own best teacher," the group's founder and former executive director Marilyn Kay said.
